Kiel

Kiel is an ordinary (L6) chondrite that fell April 26, 1962, in Kiel, Germany.  The 738-gram (1.6-pound) stone went through the roof of a house, and was found the next day in the attic by the resident.

No fireball or accoustic phenomena were witnessed at the time of the Kiel meteorite fall, however, the stone’s finder did note a large hole in his roof.
