Nejo

Nejo is a 2.45-kg ordinary (L6) chondrite that fell near the village of Jarso, in the Wollega Province of Ethiopia May 11, 1970.

According to the Meteoritical Bulletin (MB 50):

High-pitched noise indicated that three objects passed over Jarso heading north-northwest. One fell hitting the ground at the same time an explosion was heard. The object was not burning nor brilliant, and it produced a hole 25 cm in diameter and 30 cm deep in hard soil.
