Buseck Center for Meteorite Studies

Meteorites at Earth & Space Exploration Day

Thanks to all who braved heavy rain to join the Buseck Center for Meteorite Studies for Earth and Space Exploration Day!

Hosted by the ASU School of Earth and Space Exploration (SESE), this annual event features over 40 exhibitors and innovative hands-on activities. SESE’s research portfolio includes projects on every continent of the world, and extends to the Moon, Mars, Mercury and beyond – photos of the lunar surface, sampling the Red Planet using robotic rovers, studying earthquakes big and small, investigating mud volcanoes in Indonesia and much, much more!

The Buseck Center exhibit included treasures from the vault, rare meteorites, and the chance to interact directly with Center researchers.
